10x your thinking = 10x your business
A t-shirt can sell for $5, $50, $500, or even $5,000. Why?...
Let’s demystify sales for a moment.
A t-shirt can sell for $5, $50, $500, or even $5,000. Why?
It could be the same product, but each price tag has something wildly different behind it.
So what’s the difference? The context.
For something like a t-shirt, it could be where the materials are sourced, or the location or environment in which the t-shirt is sold, or who is wearing it, or what brands are representing it… the list goes on.
The context speaks to the price point. Mind you, the t-shirt itself isn’t opting into a fee. It’s our human psychology and projection of value at play.
If you’re going to unlock your 10x sales, you must first understand that context is everything. And knowing this will literally change everything, starting with your bank account.
Last year I read a book titled 10x is Easier Than 2x. As an expert who supports clients in scaling their businesses, I was naturally enticed by the title itself.
Let me break down the whole book in one, simple sentence: 2x goals are tactical and routine, but a 10x goal forces creativity, innovation, delegation, and new structures.
In other words, 10x-ing your thinking begins to create momentum to 10x your business. You cannot build a 10x business with 2x tools.
For the sake of an easy example, if you’re currently selling t-shirts for $5 and you want to jump to $500/each, what is required for you to do that? Do you know where you’d start?
On May 14, I’m leading a virtual masterclass for founders on this exact topic: How to 10x Your Business.
We’ll discuss how context shapes the value you provide and address why so many talented people struggle to sell their excellent work. We’ll examine the context you share your proposals and value proposition, and we’ll help you break through your own glass ceiling so you can make the kind of money you want. Or at least start thinking like you need in order to scale.
I’ll also share three examples of wildly successful professionals in completely different industries.
One won an Oscar as a movie composer, and he’s written a symphony every year for the last 22 years. *He doesn’t read music.*
Another built one of the most sought-after luxury concierge travel agencies serving the top 1% of earners worldwide. She never participated in traditional luxury travel conventions or associations. She built it her own way, and now presidents and royalty are on a wait list to work with her.
Another person started a farm and home goods business during covid and became one of the most notable brands in Los Angeles, partnering with Jane Goodall and Martha Stewart.
None of them followed a “normal” or conventional path to success. None of them did was is typical for their industry. They completely leaned into their unique context. They had expanded thinking. They thought beyond what was reasonable.
Prepare to be inspired…
No one else gets to decide how you build success. That’s entirely up to you, and you can do it in unconventional ways.
What actually matters is focus, intention, and knowing how to position what you offer.
This masterclass is about helping you discover your own way of doing it and learning how to sell your work in a way that actually fits who you are - and I hope you’ll join me.

The context point is the right framing for sales but it gets trickier when AI commoditizes the easy parts of context creation. Anyone can now generate decent product copy or branding in an hour. What still doesn't scale is the actual lived experience and proof behind the price tag. The 10x sellers a year from now will be the ones who built moats AI can't copy. What's the context lever you've personally seen produce the biggest price jump?
